Exercise Oncology

Research continues to show that participation in an exercise program decreases Cancer incidence. Exercising during and after treatment significantly eases side effects, helps to speed recovery and rehabilitation following chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery as well as enhancing survival rates by lowering the rate of reoccurrence. Laurens experience as both a physiologist and Cancer patient can help you to be a proactive participant in your treatment. Take control of your health and wellness during the time when it’s been taken away.

Adaptive Fitness

Physical activity and movement are important for all people especially those with special needs. Weight management, fine motor skills, coordination, confidence, a sense of independence, relationship and team building are all components of an exercise program designed for this population. Lauren has extensive experience working with those clients facing unique cognitive and physical challenges. Private and semi-private sessions available.

Lauren offers a diverse range of classes. She believes in a holistic approach to fitness that goes above and beyond the typical gym experience. Small group training, Spinning®, Barre, Yoga and low impact specific sessions are designed to meet clients where they are and guide them on a path of progression.
